Donington Park – Now available on Google Street view

If you would like a drivers eye view of Donington Park can now lap the Home of British Motorsport from the comfort of your armchair, as Donington Park can now be viewed on Google’s Street View service.

Donington aficionados are able to see panoramic views of the circuit, zoom in for a closer look at kerbs, apexes and other surroundings, as well as being able to move virtually around the full Grand Prix circuit layout.

The pit lane and other supporting roads can also be viewed on the service, which is available from today (29 October) onwards.

Donington Park’s Managing Director Christopher Tate welcomed the circuit’s addition to Google’s popular service: “It’s great to have Donington Park now added to Google Street View. We have a dedicated fan base supporting us here at Donington. Now, with this Street View, they have their first chance to get really up close and personal with the track itself, without having to be behind the wheel or on the bars! The team here at Donington hope that visiting us on Google Street View will be tempted to have an actual drive or ride on the track themselves at some point in the future!”
