What format are the photos in?
All Picturesports.co.uk photos are in JPG format.

Do you add photos on a regular basis?
Yes. We add photos as they are taken. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted.

How long does it take to take? Every assignment is different. For example, it takes a little time to get a good portrait, to find that image that reflects you. For products assignments and other commercial work it is important to understand the look and feel that you wish your product to be seen in. They key to it is not to rush. Be the image relaxed, formal, posed or candid; taken in a studio or outdoors it is the attention to detail that will make the difference you are looking for.
There is no limit to what we can achieve for you. Our post production process includes loading the images in to a secure gallery for you to review.  

Can I buy digital images from Picturesports.co.uk?
For private assignments, in the same way a film photographers do not offer film negatives for sale, we do not offer the digital images for sale.   

For commercial assingments we produce digital files and license their use in accordance with you needs.  

What is a Lightbox?
The lightbox function allows you to group the images that you want in to a single collection and send thumb nail versions of them as a single e-mail to anyone you like via our built in e-mail function. The term Lightbox comes from when negatives were cut from rolls of film and places on a table with a light underneath it so that the images could be previewed. This is the electronic version of a lightbox.  

How do I use the Lightbox Function?
To use the lightbox function you need to have registered with us. Registration is free and we don’t use the data for anything else but Smile Please communicating with you. See our privacy statement for more information if you are concerned.  

Once registered, login using the Member Login under the options tab on the left hand side of the screen and then select My Lightbox. If you are creating a lightbox for the first time enter a name in the box under “Create New Lightbox” and the click GO. This will create an empty lightbox on the system.

Once created you must select the lightbox using the drop down menu before you can add images to it.  

Click on “Select a Lightbox” and the drop down menu will show you the lightboxes associated with your account. Once selected you can start to add images to that that lightbox.

To add an image to your selected lightbox, click on one of the categories on the left of the screen or use the database to browse. Under an image you will see a + symbol. Click on this to add the image to your selected lightbox. Once a thumb nail image has been added you will see the symbol change to a – sign.   Add as many images as you require and when you have finished, click on My Lightbox under the option tab on the left of the screen.

To send a completed lightbox enter the e-mail address in the highlighted box. You can send the same box to several addresses by placing a comma between the addresses. There is also a space for you to enter a short note. Press Go when you are complete and when the lightbox has been successfully sent you will see the message “The lightbox was emailed” appear below the message box.
